Many people use the two terms “web design” and “web development” interchangeably, but they have very different meanings. When looking for a company to build your website, it's important to know the difference.

Weiss Communications specializes in web design which is the "front-end" or visitor-facing part of a website – we are not developers.  We work with outside web developers who engineer the "back-end" architecture, database integration and code writing. These vendors may also provide hosting, maintenance and security for your website. Weiss Communications, however, limits its role to art direction and overall design.
